The History of Tricorp: The Best Workwear for More than 25 Years

Tricorp was founded in 1993 under the name Tricorp Textiles BV. Since Tricorp was founded, we have experienced enormous growth. There are probably a lot of things you didn't know about Tricorp. ACQUISITION OF ROM88: A MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH IN THE WORKWEAR BUSINESS

In the late 1980s, there was a demand for high-quality products in the Netherlands work clothes with a good fit and high wearing comfort. The clothing label ROM88 responded to this by developing high-quality work clothing, with a good fit and high wearing comfort. These are still Tricorp's core values. Just like Tricorp, ROM88 aimed to provide professionals with better work clothing. Tricorp decided to take over the label in 2000 because it fits seamlessly with Tricorp's collection. In 2015, ROM88 was transformed into Tricorp Casual. It Tricorp Casual label offers an extensive collection of basic work clothing with a casual look. Products such as T-shirts, polos, sweaters and other basics with which you make a well-groomed impression. In addition to a wide range of knitwear for men/unisex, the Casual label also offers a lot women's work clothes and even some items for children.

TRICORP LABELS: FROM SPECIALS UNTIL SAFETY

We started supplying in 2007 customization under the Tricorp label Specials. As an organization, you have the freedom to use all your creativity to create a unique, uniform and recognizable appearance. With its own design department, Tricorp designs a unique product. Craftsmanship and the latest software ensure that we can translate your wishes into perfectly fitting work clothing.

TRICORP CORPORATE

In 2011 we started offering business work clothing. It Tricorp Corporate label offers a compact collection of suits for women and men. The fabric used is a beautiful combination of 70% wool and 30% natural stretch polyester. The embroidery zipper in the lining makes it easy to add a chest logo to the jacket and jacket. In addition to the suits, this collection features blouses and shirts that complete the outfit.

TRICORP PREMIUM

The Premium label was set up in 2016. It Tricorp Premium label offers an exclusive collection with distinctive clothing made from innovative fine materials. This makes this clothing suitable for employees in a commercial environment such as the catering industry. Paying attention to fashion, Tricorp presents itself as a trendsetter in the workwear market with this label.

TRICORP SAFETY

High visibility is important for the Tricorp Safety collection, which was set up in 2017. In addition to the fact that work clothing must be comfortable, for some jobs it is extremely important that you are clearly visible and protected. With high visibility clothing from Tricorp you will stand out and work in EN ISO certified work clothing. For the extremes, we also offer a multi-standard package that protects professionals against various risks in the working environment.

SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT: SPONSORSHIP AND COLLABORATION

Did you know that Tricorp clothing is produced in several places? We produce in Portugal, India, Turkey, China, Poland, Pakistan, Macedonia, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Cambodia. This is accompanied by a great sense of responsibility. People and the environment are very important to Tricorp. It is not without reason that we are and will remain socially and sportingly involved.

SPONSORSHIP WILLEM II

In 2014, Tricorp became the main sponsor of Willem II football club. Tricorp carried out several activities during the sponsorship. An example of this is the canopy for disabled supporters in the King Willem II Stadium. In 2018 we felt it was time for a new main sponsor and that is why we converted the collaboration into a business partnership.

COOPERATION WITH VERSTEIJNEN LOGISTICS

In 2016 we are with Versteijnen Logistics start working together. Versteijnen takes care of Tricorp's entire logistics process. Orders are prepared in the warehouse and then transported to the customer. Since 2018 they have been doing this with a new system called Autostore. Autostore is a logistics cube storage, in which robots pick up products and then transport them to the corresponding collection locations. With the introduction of Autostore, the logistics process is faster and more efficient.

TRICORP PRINTING

Our own area of expertise is developing the best, functional and representative work clothing. Of course, ensuring the best quality, fit and appearance does not stop with developing the product itself, but also includes the services that support this. We offer our printing service, set up in 2018, to relieve our customers who do not have this service in-house, where necessary. Printing corporate clothing is a craft and we use the latest machines and techniques for this. The materials of our work clothing require specific expertise when printing. This way we can guarantee the quality of the printing and deliver a complete product.

TRICORP: A TOUCH TEAM OF SPECIALISTS

The Tricorp Textiles office was first located in Waalwijk. In 2003 we moved to a much larger office in Rijen. This office includes a large showroom. Moreover, all our employees are located here. In 2019 we reached a total of 66 employees! These employees are committed to putting Tricorp on the map (internationally). Countries where we are currently active are the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland, Finland and Sweden. Together we will continue to work towards an equally bright future!
