Why the right choice matters for an orange work jacket
An orange work jacket usually serves a visibility purpose. 18 of the 27 models in this range meet EN ISO 20471, the standard for high-visibility clothing, which sets the class based on the surface area of fluorescent and retroreflective material. For work along national roads, the Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) guidelines also apply, setting requirements for colour combination and reflection.
11 models are tested to EN 343, the standard for protection against rain and wind. 7 models meet EN 14058, the standard for clothing used in cool environments. 21 of the 27 models meet the general protection requirements of EN ISO 13688.
The style determines how much protection a jacket offers: a softshell is windproof and water-repellent, a parka or pilot jacket offers more protection during prolonged rain and cold, fleece works as a mid-layer or in less extreme conditions.
Bicolor jackets
The bicolor style combines two colours in one jacket. The Softshell Bicolor Black-Orange (402002) and the Softshell Bicolor Stitched Black-Orange (402021) are the base models in black-orange. The Softshell Hooded Accent Black-Orange (402705) has a fixed hood, the Winter Tech Shell Accent Black-Orange (402703) is the insulated winter version. For women there's the Softshell Bicolor Women's Black-Orange (402008), available under women's workwear.
Bicolor high-visibility models include the Softshell Hooded Bicolor Redefined Black-Orange (406118) and its women's version Softshell Hooded Bicolor Redefined Women's Black-Orange (406119), the Softshell Hooded High Vis Redefined Fluo Orange-Ink (406109), the Winter Jacket Ripstop High Vis Redefined Fluo Orange-Ink (406107) and the Rain Jacket Techshell High Vis Redefined Fluo Orange-Ink (406108). Unicolor jackets
The unicolor models come in a single fluo-orange colour. For work along national roads there's the Softshell RWS Fluo-Orange (403003), the Pilot Jacket RWS Fluo-Orange (403006), the Parka RWS Fluo-Orange (403005) and the Fleece Jacket RWS Fluo-Orange (403008). Reversible versions are also available: the Softshell RWS Reversible Fluo-Orange (403701), the Parka RWS Reversible Fluo-Orange (403703) and the Pilot Jacket RWS Reversible Fluo-Orange (403704). Traffic controller jackets
For traffic controllers there are two models in the orange-yellow colour combination: the Softshell Traffic Controller Orange-Yellow (403002) and the Parka Traffic Controller Orange-Yellow (403001). This colour combination differs from the other bicolor and unicolor models and is specific to this role.
