Good news! As of 1 July 2023, Tricorp complies with the EPR obligations!

The Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations encourage sustainable production within the Dutch textile sector that means producing less waste and using more recycled textiles. How is Tricorp responding to this? We are taking a collective, national approach. Together with over 500 other companies, we signed the preliminary agreement with the EPR Textile Foundation. As a result, 60% of all textiles entering the Dutch market are currently represented by EPR regulations.

The EPR Textile Foundation is committed to achieving various goals. Those goals are divided into two parts:

By 2025:

50% reuse and recycling, of which:

At least 20% reuse and 30% recycling;

At least 10% reuse in the Netherlands;

At least 1/4 of recycling involves high-quality fibre-to-fibre recycling.

By 2030:

75% reuse and recycling, of which:

At least 25% reuse and 50% recycling;

At least 15% reuse in the Netherlands;

At least 1/3 of recycling concerns high-quality fibre-to-fibre recycling.
