Good work clothing is an investment in comfort, safety and appearance. With the right care, your clothing will not only last longer, but will also continue to perform optimally. Here are a few tips to keep your work clothes in top condition:

1.    Always read the care label

Every garment is different. Before washing, always check the label for recommended temperature and washing instructions. Washing too hot can damage or shrink fabrics.

2.    Wash less, wear longer

Excessive washing can damage the fibers of your clothes and shorten their lifespan. Is your clothing not visibly dirty? Then hang it outside to air out or in the bathroom during a hot shower - this way you can freshen it up quickly and easily.

3.    Wash inside out

Turn pants, shirts and jackets inside out to protect colors and reduce wear on prints or reflective details.

4.     Use a mild detergent

Choose a detergent without aggressive bleaching agents. Avoid fabric softener for clothes with stretch or water-repellent coating, as this affects the function.

5.    Avoid the dryer

Drying in the open air is the best for your clothes. If you use a dryer, choose a low temperature to prevent shrinkage or damage. This also saves you a lot of energy.

6.    Do you suffer from unpleasant odors?

Does your favorite Tricorp item no longer smell so fresh? Mix natural vinegar with water in a spray bottle and treat the odor spots. Then wash according to the washing label. Simple, effective and so you can wear your favorite item even longer.

7.     Worn or forgotten? Hand it in.

Is your Tricorp clothing worn out or has it been unused in the closet for a while? Hand it in to your favorite Tricorp dealer. In this way we give materials a second life together, sustainably and responsibly.
